Spanish Language Teacher (Upper Primary and Secondary)

¹ú²ú¾«Æ· (¹ú²ú¾«Æ·) is a co-educational Kindergarten to Year 12 day and boarding school located in beautiful Cairns in tropical North Queensland. Through embedding restorative practices in partnership with Real Schools, we proactively engage with our students, to provide a high level of support for all areas of pastoral care: academic, social, emotional and spiritual, which increases outcomes in learning for each individual.

¹ú²ú¾«Æ· the Role

The College is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Spanish Teacher to join the College teaching team in 2025. The successful applicant will be passionate about delivering a quality and engaging language learning experience to our students and be able to demonstrate their capacity and willingness to engage with the Christian ethos of our College. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for both experienced educators and enthusiastic new graduates to make a positive impact on students' lives.

Criteria:

  • Experience teaching Spanish
  • Experience in the provision of quality relevant curriculum programs
  • Highly developed classroom teaching skills
  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification and teaching registration
  • Commitment to upholding Christian values and ethos
  • Ability to work in a team to achieve identified outcomes and sustained performance
  • Demonstrated well-developed interpersonal skills, time management and organisational skills
  • Applicants must have the legal right to work in Australia to be considered for this position
